Sony launches ebook reader

Exciting news for avid readers. Sony will be releasing two new e-book readers: pocket edition for $199 and a touch-screen version starting at $299. It comes in blue, rose and sliver. This e-book reader has a 5-inch display, and can run up to two weeks on one batter charge. The devices will be available at the end of August.

The rose pink color e-book is simply gorgeous.

This is an alternative to Amazon Kindle for those looking for a more colorful hand held. Rumor has it Apple is also working on ebook reader. Will it happen? Time will tells.
