Sony will be releasing two new e-book  readers: pocket edition for $199 and a touch-screen version starting at $299. It comes in blue, rose and sliver. This e-book reader has a 5-inch display, and can run up to two weeks on one batter charge. The devices will be available at the end of August.

This is an alternative to Amazon Kindle for those looking for a more colorful hand held. Rumor has it Apple is also working on ebook reader. Will it happen? Time will tells.
